In case of systems spread over a large area, it is often difficult to ensure cost-effective maintenance and upkeep. WEBfactory MobileMaintenance is able to calculate the exact maintenance date on the basis of current parameters such as temperature, operating time, rotating speed or switching cycle. This can increase the maintenance intervals thus maintaining the system performance.

For maintenance technicians to be able to execute their tasks without delays, they are guided through the standard industry PDAs in connection with WEBfactory MobileMaintenance and the integrated GPS- and indoor navigation straight to the components in need of maintenance. After identification of the components per RFID, their status and the necessary measurements are read by the system.

By comparison with regular methods, this means a huge saving of time in the registration of operating statuses. In addition, confusions are excluded and due to automated online documentation – as opposed to the manual, paper-related process – it is ensured that no faulty data is registered.

This considerably increases the availability of the system, while maintenance costs are reduced.
